you would think that langley would be built on fort langley, but this is not the case. fort langley is actually about 15min out of langley and as such, has retained much of its heritage (unlike langley which has succumb overwhelmingly to the powers of wallmart and homedepot).

this is a shot of the old fort langley city hall which is used nowadays for pretty much any festival held in the area; including the beltane bash held every year on may 1st.
