I'm not the most patriotic guy in the world, but right now it feels pretty damn good to be Canadian!

As someone on the inside, allow me to coin the downhome vernacular: WAIT FER IT, ME SON!

We signed the agreement on the QT with the Yanks (NORAD) a long while back while John Cretin was our dictator; it's a done deal, my friend. God curse the lawyers and their grasp of semantics.

I would suggest that you think twice before you trust the media lineof the Liberal bastards before you score 1 for the good guys; even if people are democratically elected; a dictatorship is a dictatorship, and they always follow the same MO.

Exercise a little political slieght of hand and distract the proletariat with something (e.g. same sex marriage) and you can get away with murder. A quick review of history would reveal this to be true. The NAZIs, the Bosheviks, the Grits, the Khmer Rouge - all of them are adept in the fine art of manipulation.

That's why I defy categorization WRT my politcal beliefs; I'm left, I'm right; I borrow from the lot. Oh , God(ess), being a sociopath does have it's benifits. [LOL]

Cheers,

Tee

sadly, i'm not surprised by this. but for me, i've never much cared if we signed on "on the qt" as you put it. for me, public appearances are more important at the moment. Canada has to be seen as not approving of something like this publically because it really is a terrible idea. if however, we have to be part of it legally to maintain a seat at norad, i'm not pleased, but i understand.

does that make sense?
