Image Gallery dow's lake - malone's bar n' grill

about 20min walk from my house is dow's lake, a really big, pretty puddle on the outskirts of ottwawa's "downtown" core. surrounded in a bike path, the whole thing freezes over in the winter, and at that point, it's not uncommon to see trucks driving over it, all the way to where it connects to the rideau canal, and then drive over the ice all the way to parliament.

the building here on the water is actually a composite of a few restaurants and rental shops. "malone's bar n' grill" is where i meet friends every once in a while.
