I think it looks fabulous! But you already know that. :)

I do have one critique, though: the URL is really long for most of the pages. Don't you think that over complicates things a bit?

Good point. I've changed all the links to whatyoushouldknow/* to info/* and redirected the old links so nothing breaks.

Thanks :-)

Hey man,

Nice site, but there appears to be a bug when viewing the site using IE7:

When first opening the page, the left-hand menu appears on the extreme left (de0aligned with the txt). When you mouse-over the menu, however, the menu disappears from the extreme left-hand side and aligns itself with the text immediately as it should appear.

I loooed at the source, and you didn't use javascript atall, so that isn't it. I did notice hwever that you used the link rel and two stylesheets with the shared variable of "stylesheet". You may want to name one of these variables "stylesheet2" or something.

That's what I saw...however, the information is clear and concise, and the site design looks amazing. Nice work.

CCTV works but only in high crime areas, like say detroit, in places where there are weekly shootings in same area. But Toronto isn't a place for CCTV, there isn't enough violent crime to justify the cost. Maybe put it up at Jane and Finch. But I haven't heard much about shootings there either so never know.

Actually, it's even less effective as a deterrent in places like Detroit because violent criminals don't care about who's watching. Like the shoot outs on Bloor street last summer, people with guns commit their crimes in front of hundreds of witnessess -- if they're not worried in broad daylight at Yonge & Bloor, they're certainly not going to care that they're on camera.

And for the record, the CCTV pilot is going up at Jane & Finch. Expect them to be useless there as well.
