one of the things i was hoping to find in ottawa on Canada day was more "joie de vive" than i've been exposed to so far in this town... i should know better than to get my hopes up, ottawa had a much higher turnout, but "celebration" was not in the air.

...except for these people. they had music playing, and were dancing and singing, pretty much the only people i saw out there really "having fun". so i had to take a picture.
