some people think that cats should never be bathed. that somehow, magically, all of that licking adds up to a good clean bath. those people are wrong. basil here was getting rather ripe (admittedly in part due to the fact that he'd not yet figured out that he should lick himself) and needed some cleaning. so chrystal and i took an evening to get the kitty clean.

and then i got the camera ;-)
