I stumbled upon his home, which has since been turned into a museum. It wasn't very interesting unless you (a) could read German and (b) knew a lot about him, but it was still pretty :-)

Ahhh..yes actually. They hang out in SK in the summers. These guys weren't making any noise. Maybe they were dead? Cicadas are SOO loud here, it's deafening. Few minutes later...Ooh I looked it up. The things we were photographing were probably cicada exoskeletons.
